Aert is my new drawing workshop enterprise. It takes its name from its locality – in Shetland dialect simply meaning ‘earth’.
The aim of Aert is to enable participants to explore their creativity and respond to nature in meaningful ways. Offering inclusive opportunities for individuals, groups and communities to develop drawing skills, Aert’s activities bring together varied contemporary art practices with creative exploration of environment.
