Join me on Facebook and Instagram @a.labourne for a series of creative activities exploring nature, environment and the elements of drawing!

In association with The Big Draw whose theme this year is ‘A Climate of Change’, each activity will prompt us to use drawing as a tool to consider the environments we inhabit, giving us new ways to investigate what’s around and explore movement, change and chance.

Suitable for all, no previous drawing knowledge or experience is required! All you will need is a pencil and sketching paper (though if you have other drawing materials, you’re welcome to use these). For some activities we will be drawing found objects from our immediate environment.

Post pictures of your creations in the comments below each day's activity on Facebook. On Instagram, use #aert_elements to tag your work and to see drawings by others. Join in as many as you wish - it would be great to see your responses!
