Shetland Dressing Board prints now available!

In 2022, I was asked to make drawings of various blocking boards from Shetland for a feature in the Shetland Wool Week Annual that year.

It was a delight to be involved.. I spent time in the archives studying different types of dressing board – often referred to as a brod - then worked in my studio to make the final drawings. It was a fascinating process to capture the unique character of each board. You can buy them from the Shetland Museum and Archives shop in Lerwick, or from my studio in Speldiburn Community Hub, Bressay, or get into contact here! The print size is 23 x 33cm, and they’re mounted to fit a 30 x 40cm frame.
