An exhibition about perception, deception and our view of the world.

This exhibition runs until the 19th October:
Konvikt - Haus der Kultur
Kalvarienbergstraße 1
54595 Prüm, Germany

I'm delighted to be exhibiting with fellow Drawing Studio 23 artists in Prüm, Germany!

This exhibition FAKE – Wie wahr ist die Wirklichkeit? ('How True is Reality?') explores illusion, communication and confusion.

Drawing Studio 23 is an artist’s collective from across the UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Czech Republic and United States, bridging different generations and backgrounds, who came together in 2023, in the 3rd year of Royal Drawing School’s Online Drawing Development Year.

This is the second from the collective, following 'Drawing Beyond', London in 2024 and has been organised and curated by the brilliant Heidrun van Dörfjes.

I'm exhibiting a concertina work called 'Moving Mountain', 2025. It's inspired by experiences of walking Scottish mountain landscapes. This seemingly timeless and static environment is in flux with snow and weather conditions; you constantly question the solidity of what is beneath your feet, and scale and distance are often hard to assess.

Participating artists are:

Alexandra Carus Bowker
Amy Drayson
Aruna Radha
Elisa Hudson
Harriet Richards
Hayley Banks
Heidrun van Dörfjes
Iain Richardson
Janice Cameron
Kelise Franclemont
Lesley Croxford
