Timelines: A Mind Your Head Workshop

When & Where: 19.00 - 20.30, Monday 19th October 2020 | Online via Zoom

Booking: Through Mind Your Head Shetland

As part of the Mind Your Head Shetland October 2020 Wellness Activity Programme, I’ll be delivering an online session of relaxed drawing activities centred around ideas of drawing and time. Over the last several months, we will have all had such varied and often troubling experiences during the pandemic. But whether lockdown perhaps meant more ‘slow time’ in your life, or whether you found yourself busier than ever, this session aims to use drawing as a way to explore and think about time in interesting ways, perhaps even providing some much needed creative space ‘outside of time’.

Free entry but limited spaces!

Participants are asked to have ready at home:

  • Pencils (or any other drawing media you like to use for instance coloured pencil, pen, charcoal, ink with pen or brushes – anything that makes a mark!)

  • Drawing Paper / Sketchbook

  • Ruler

  • Viewfinder (simple instructions to be sent via email once you've registered)

  • A small selection of photographs you’d like to draw from. These could be your photos, photos from a magazine, old family photos or even film stills – anything you find visually interesting!
